One would hope that congress wouldn't confirm a toadie, but they've certainly shown no spine to date.
Correct, the people that Trump wants will not make it through the senate. I have no idea who he would select maybe one of his off spring. Trump is now firing his own appointments, at some point he will run out of people.
Where is Sessions while Trump is attacking his agency, has he been on vacation.
Exactly correct - the FBI Agents have given him a vote of confidence, the President has said nothing about firing him, he clearly had nothing to do with the COMEY Mess and attempted Coup.
And isn't it interesting that Leftists are now talking about Wray either quitting or getting fired.
I wonder what has them worried about Director Wray?

We want Wray to stay.
The speculation is from his own confirmation hearing: if Trump went against his advice, he would resign.

Not exactly. I went back to his confirmation hearing and Wray said if he was asked by trump to do 'something illegal or immoral' he would not do it and would resign.

Wray isn't their problem.
Andrew McCabe's decision to step down as FBI deputy director is reportedly tied to a forthcoming watchdog report on how the agency handled the investigation in Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

I guess it will depend if he thinks Trump's action to release the memo to be immoral.
Why resign? He will be giving trump what he wants then. After this phony memo turned out to be a dud, let Trump worry. Trump and Nunes made this up. More Republican alternate facts...
Trumplettes have no respect for anyone who spends their career in government. It’s no surprise that they would prefer sacking all career employees and get back to the good ole Spoils System Days of Andy Jackson.

When you see Comey's disgraceful behavior in 2016 and 2017, and given how much of a boy scout he was supposed to be.....that makes it hard to trust anyone.
Mueller is being praised just as much as Comey was, and may prove to be no better, and we already know he stacked the deck with Clinton donors.
