Just a phase the left is going through. It will pass in time. It used to be the left was for complete free speech and the right was the ones who said we need to be careful with what we say to avoid offending certain people, now the roles have reversed. Statists will be statists. They merely switch roles every 30 years or so.
I'm not surprised. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if the government tried to force his family to change their last name.
My initials form a three letter word that was commonly used to refer to one group of people the United States fought in WWII. That word is apparently now unacceptable. My last Disabled hang tag only had my first and last initial on it, one of the very few that does not have all three initials. Oh, my, can't have THAT WORD in public view!
