We've seen an example in the past of a runaway computer having a large influence on the market. So what do stock prices really say about the economy?

When the stock market goes up, your 401k or brokerage account value goes up. More money = better economy

Or something like that.

Computers make thousands and thousands of trades per second based on miniscule trends. How is that a true indicator of the state of the economy and the economic health of the stock issuers?

Have you ever noticed that the folks who are all about polluting the air, poisoning the water, off shore drilling, ... all want live in highly regulated places?

Trump is all for off-shore drilling, just not off-shore of Mar-a-Lago.

Mr. Live Free or Die Paul Ryan lives in a gated community.

That book should be economics for ignorant and delusional people who like to be brainwashed because those are the types of people who buy or read those types of books. You probably have a full encyclopedia of them.

The stock market is a racket of the worst sort and an ice pick in the heart of the U.S.. It is a facade..A gambling racket based on usury, exploitation and hypocrisy.

It needs to be fully dismantled and or fully privatized. A country that is some 18 trillion in debt can not possibly claim to have the best economy ever with any integrity.

You better read some better books or lay off the MSM propaganda for a while.

Same thing can be said for renewable energy proponents....I don't see any offshore wind farms go in the water next to the Kennedy compound

How about those who favor eliminating the EPA? They issuing permits for dirty coal plants, toxic waste dumps, etc. just upwind of their properties or dumping coal ash and other waste just upstream?
