Seems like these days many cities are electing people as mayors, police chiefs and other public safety chief positions just because they are not white-males just to score points with liberals.

Seems like many liberals will just rush to a voting booth just because someone is not a white male.

I think it makes sense to vote for most qualified person regardless of race, ethnicity or gender.

For example, Gilbert has an excellent mayor who is a female who runs a world-class Municipality. If I were still there, I would vote again and again for her fantastic leadership.

I also would vote for Michele Bachman, Sarah Palin, Ben Carson or Herman Cain as they are extremely qualified people with brilliance and unquestioned intelligence.

Deneen Borelli would make a fantastic politician as an African-American woman as she is extremely brilliant.

It seems like more and more though, people who really have zero leadership with questionable intelligence like Catherine Pugh in Baltimore and Lyda Krewson are elected just because of their gender or racial group and not their policy and mayoral leadership abilities.

I know to appease liberals the ultra-liberal mayor of Phoenix who is a white male decided to appoint Jeri Williams to be the police chief despite the fact she came from a very small city in California.

Ever since the mayor of Phoenix decided to have a police department with an African-American women based on identity politics and not qualifications from a small city as police chief, some of the violent crime indicators have sky-rocketing, high-reponse times, moral so low that they have a massive police shortage because officers are retiring in droves and also very public issues with police overreacting to protests.

Yes liberals believe in identity group representation not results and merit.

Also many liberal voters are not male and not white and want their identity in leadership positions.

To me it makes perfect sense. If you live in a city where the majority are Latino, Black, Asian, or whatever, then the leadership positions should reflect the population. However, if there aren't enough qualified people, then the city should elect whoever is the most qualified. Notice, I said people who are qualified. The person who is chosen should have similar background to the population they will represent. If a white person has a similar background, then they should also be given consideration. For example, if a white person grew up in the poor part of the city with Latinos.

The problem is that many of the whites that want to be in leadership positions don't have similar backgrounds as the people they represent. Often times the politician is only interested in advancing their political career by taken a leadership position in a city they don't understand or never lived in the ghettos or even middle class section of the city. Instead, these white people are from rich or upper class areas that are only using the leadership position to spring board their political career. That is the problem I have with most white politicians trying to run in minority cities. They aren't representative of the majority of the people who live in the city and who understand the blight of the people. That is what the Democrat party represents.

The same case can be made of poor white cities with a white rich politician moving in to take a leadership position. It happens too often in politics.

Michelle " Crazy Eyes" Bachmann and Sarah " You betcha" Palin are brilliant and have unquestioned intelligence???? Ummmm what on earth makes you say THAT?
Those simple-minded gherkins would make Pee Wee Herman look like Winston Churchill in terms of leadership ability and intelligence.

It's not always about who is the most intelligent. Take the Democrats and the recent shutdown. It was a tactical mistake on the part of the Democrats to force a government shutdown at the expense of the citizen of this country. Take another example, netflix price increase and separating the dvd operation in 2011. Netflix lost 800 subscribers and was force to revert to the old model. The CEO of netflix, Hastings, ask a friend what he though before the company implemented these change. He said exactly what would happen to netflix, but the CEO didn't listen. The CEO did listen to members of the board and management in netflix. Sometimes, you can't think through a problem.

Both of these women are educated, wealthy, and successful in private industry as well as governement. They **** all over people who give these types of silly opinons of them, believe me.

Not an ad hominem...not saying you. I mean, you seem good. Just a statement of fact and a reality check for some of the delusional Saturday Night Live fans out there.

Meanwhile I am sure you check the box every time for the party of community organizers, former president's wives, Antifa psychos, socialists, communists, fake grievance industry reverends, criminals, deadbeats, illegals, and welfare bums.

Whatever.

That has pretty much zero to do with PHX PD’s current chief. Phoenix and every large valley agency have been hemmoraging Officers for years. The DROP program only exasacerbated that problem and that came into fruition YEARS ago. That, in conjunction with there simply not being enough qualified candidates to hire, is what’s causing this problem. The fact that you blame this all on the current chief shows that you have limited knowledge on this subject.

This reminds me of the recent election of the new head of the DNC. Remember that? There was a white woman from Idaho who was presenting her case in the absolute worst case of pandering that I have ever seen

"It's my job to shut white people down!!" She goes on to trash her own state for being "too white". And if elected, she will "Train white people to shut their mouth", despite her being a white person..
