I support this. I like the suggestion of a parade on Veterans Day this yaar to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI. Would have been nice to have one in ‘15 for the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.
For all the libs that say this would cost too much, how about we ban any liberal march on the Mall...Million Man, Womans March, Civil Rights, Gay Pride, AIDS Quilt, Trump Protest, etc.?
I see, henceforth, The COMMANDER IN CHIEF of the greatest military on earth will absolutely not be allowed to hold a parade to show Americans that he wants to honor them...because hateful bitter liberals dont want him to because it might make him look good...got it.

You want to honor soldiers and veterans, here are a couple places to start:
Go to your local homeless shelter, find a veteran and buy them a meal and say thank you. Ask them if they need anything, and get it for them (or find someone who can)
But I guess it's easier for you to stand along a parade route and wave and say you're supporting our military rather than actually putting your time and money were your mouth is and actually doing something for them that really matters.

Soldiers don’t want to spend their holidays participating in dumb contrived parades. You don’t know any better because you’ve never put in work.
If you guys want these dumb parades, then YOU organize it and march in it and blow YOUR day off.
You bet I would! What a waste of money. And I say this as the daughter, granddaughter, great-grandaughter, sister, cousin and aunt of career naval officers. I have lived the military life well and thoroughly. My family members have combined length of service of well over 150 years. All Annapolis grads.
This is not about Trump respecting the military. Do you believe that? My military family is appalled by him. Especially after his remarks about POWs. My uncle died in a POW camp during Vietnam.
Trump is a pitiful man who needs a big military parade to show off. It’s not about the military, or our country...it’s about him and is fragile ego.

No one has suggested banning anything. If military folks - past or present - want to spend their time and money to go to DC and put on a parade for Trump's personal enjoyment, they are more than welcome to do so. Judging by what most veterans have said in this thread, though, I don't think there would be very many takers.
