Wasting taxpayer's money to honor those who serve and protect our freedom - but it was OK to spend the money to color the White House in Rainbow colors to support LBGT under Obama - right?
The problem with liberals is that unless it's your idea - you're going to crucify it. I love the videos like this which show most young liberals are clueless and are just following the other sheep.
This is not to honor the military. It's to stroke Trump's ego. If he wanted to honor the military he would be working harder on the problems at the VA and suicide prevention. Remember the money he promised all those vets groups when he had that fundraiser in lieu of attending a debate? The press chased after him for months until he finally coughed up the money. If they hadn't done Sox the vets groups would never have seen that money. It's his MO.
What will it take for people to realize he doesn't give a rat's ass about anyone but himself?
As someone who has protested multiple times since trump took office, I'd be surprised if there were a large scale protest that day. I'm sure some will show up but it could be seen as Anti-military and that's not the message most of us want to send. I would not attend a protest that day.
That being said, most active duty or vets who have spoken out don't seem to want this and would rather the money be spent elsewhere.
There will be enough and I predict many arrests as protesters will be lying down in the street blocking the tanks.
Well, ok then. Glad you are having a nice time. I, on the other hand, wish we also had a President who was serious about leading on our behalf in the democratic and Constitutional traditions that made this nation the leader of the free world since WW2.

Of course, many of those being “trolled†are military, have loved ones in the military and have lost loved ones who served, but Trump supporters never let facts get in the way of their thoughts, so why start now?

For the far-right cult 45 members, they will never realize this. A casual look at the facts to date should make it painful clear that Trump is a delusion sociopath who will use and abuse everyone. He has more in common with Caligula and Commodus than our Founding Fathers; an insane tyrant who was popular with the ill-educated and petty mob.
Just remember that NONE of these bobble-heads nodding "yes!" to every stupid thing Trump says or does would have trusted him with their money, house, or wife or daughter only a few years ago. But after he slaps an (R) after his name, makes a bunch of empty promises, and spews lies and bigotry, they believe everything he says, facts be damned. Disgusting partisan sell-outs.

They don't speak for half the country that is for sure.

Maybe the homeless veterans should parade through the streets of DC so the president can see what is going on his country.
