See what I mean? If you're stupid enough to shove your leg into the mouth of a machine that eats wood, you should never reproduce.

The question is: Why did Tide add color to their detergent in the first place?

The stuff is either a clear liquid or a muddy white until it's colored. The color is dye, and it never made any sense to me that dye would be added, as dye could stain a load of laundry permanently.

The only reason I can think of is the bright colors might imply a brighter wash to the person who buys the gel packets.

All Tide has to do is drop the dye, and the problem is solved. Pull the stuff off the shelves, replace it with the same stuff with no added dye in a box that says "Now with added stain-killing power", and no more worries. The claim would be true, because removing the dye kills some potential stains from it. Tide doesn't have to mention that the dye was the stain problem in the first place.

If Tide wants some bright color, just slip the pods into a bright peel-off printed cover. Then they can claim the detergent is faster acting, as the pod doesn't need to dissolve to release the detergent.

Brussels Sprouts are special. It's one of the few foods that breaks the law of supply and demand. There's no way the demand can be high enough for them to still be grown.

And you will pay the cost for Tide to do all this?

Fantastic!

Banjomike, I don't think that's going to stop idiots from doing the Tide Challenge, which they specifically named as a concern.

I want to bring every single fool that grandstands on Muh Childrunz as an argument for legislation to where I was from the time I was a few months old until 4...

No... it wasn't a day care center or pre school...

My father had a shop. Full of all sorts of lethal tools, equipment, chemicals, the works...

Make TreeBeard probably have nightmares.
