I mean crap- they're estimating 1T in deficit spending next year.
That eclipses the highest amount spent during any FY during Obama!
From an economics standpoint- I agree some deficit spending during a recession is positive, but during times of economic expansion it has to be contracted. The past 4 years should've been a draw down period.
I mean the Republicans were ALL for controlling the budget when Obama was in office, and now they literally don't care!
WTF??!
Get with the program. The deficits are increasing in order to prepare for deep cuts to Medicare and SS. Paul Ryan has even admitted it.

They won't get there without cuts to defense- that's for sure.
You cut medicare and s.s. to the bone they can literally kiss their votes goodbye. Trump couldn't conjure up enough BS to woo over p*ssed retirees. That's the backbone to the current GOP.
I'm listening to Rand Paul on the floor- he's about the ONLY Republican crying the alarm over this budget boondoggles.
He's spot on right- Congress used to work on the budget by Appropriation for each respective Agency/Dept. now it's all done by a few, wrapped in a big ball and presented as 'take it or leave it'.
No reviews, no audits.
This is CRAZY..
Yep. 700 pages of spending, and only hours to read it, and no amendments allowed. Congress at its best.
Seems to be common knowledge everywhere except among republicans.
Yup. Deficits only matter when we have a Democratic president.
