Ever heard of Mary Kay Letourneau from WA? Sure you have. From Seattle the land of all Democrat all the time. But I am not dumb enough to blame Mary Kay on the libs here.
Just a note - I don't know which party Mary Kay affiliates with now, but I can tell you that she grew up in southern California, and her dad was a John Bircher (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_G._Schmitz), until they expelled him for being too extreme. I am not dumb enough to blame Mary Kay's behavior on her (very) right-wing upbringing.
I think maybe what happens is that girls and women in our society are taught basically that they can do no wrong sexually speaking and there should be no negative consequences to any of their sexual choices. Then you put them in a position where there are consequences and they can't handle it or even fully comprehend it, especially when they are younger.
Tell a 22 year old teacher's assistance that she can't have sex with the sexy 16 year old boy from the football team who's been flirting with her and that's just going to go right over her head. She's used to just saying "who are you to judge?" whenever anyone is inclined to set a sexual boundary for her.
Interesting discussion, many different points f view here. Given that this all happened in America, the solutions are fairly obvious here: more guns and more tax breaks for the wealthy. That seems to be the answer for any issue facing america
She is correct it is clearly blatantly unconstitutional since the constitution guarantees the full and equal protection of the law to all persons within a state.
And since that isn't the case with this law, its unconstitutional.
You don't have to like it. You just have to obey it.
