You’re entitled to your opinion, but I reject the idea that a well off 65 year old, living in a Million dollar home that is paid for, who also has a substantially lucrative pension, is entitled to burden several younger people with paying them money they simply don’t need. It’s totally immoral.
Again, the idea of a safety net, which is what Social Security was originally intended to be, should be reserved for those WHO NEED IT ... not for those who insist they are entitled to it because they paid into it.
Hence, the differentiation should be an insurance policy versus a retirement account.
