Nobody decided who they were going to vote for based upon Facebook posts.
Maybe this might help...Bob/Betty like millions of other Americans were looking at Facebook in 2016. There's the usual stories about cute pets, recipes, cool cars, whatever...Now comes posts by your friends, some of which you may have interest and some you may not. Interspersed between all this info are postings about Hilary and Democrats. The articles may have or start out with a bit of truth or may not. But then the posts switch to innuendo and smears. The posts have lots of likes so how can they be wrong? Does my neighbor know about this? I need to pass this post along. So now we have people who might not have made their mind up in the election being fed half truths and lies in support of one candidate over the other. Who posted these articles? Our Security Agencies all agree it was the Russians.

This time it was to the detriment of the Democrats, next time it could be the Republicans.

We should all be concerned.

Oh. Hillary's billion dollar campaign, and having the media, Hollywood, and The Obama administration behind her couldn't overcome a few Facebook ads eh?

Such as? Do you really believe "Hillary is an alien from another planet" influenced anyone?

I did not vote for Hillary. I had absolutely valid reasons to not vote for her so it's hardly a stretch to understand that others did also.

It sounds like a coverup. They will have everyone watching their right hand while the left does the down and dirty.

Russians? What happened to Hillary? She bought the DNC who in turn gave Bernie the green weenie. Unethical, illegal, and she is free as a bird.

I think there are more US trolls prowling the web than anyone else. Trolls employed by the US government and by American corporations are the major issue. They dwarf the number Russian trolls.

Hacking - Doesn't it seem odd that in the US we don't have competent computer security people?

When the government puppets start yelling "the sky is falling" you better duck and cover because you can bet there goes what's left of our freedoms.

Obama was born in Kenya and he wiretapped Trump.

ACA has death panels.

Clinton assassinates people. (If true, why is Anthony Wiener still walking this earth?)

Seth Rich hacked those emails.

...

Lengthy list of absolute lies that about half of Republicans believe are true.

Studies have shone that conservatives are more susceptible to believing lies.

Why conservatives are more susceptible to believing in lies.

We had a young man doing some work for us who stated quite clearly that he voted for Trump because he hated Clinton and then listed half a dozen reasons, all of them outright lies, such as how she sold our uranium to Russia.

We've seen lies repeated over and over on this forum.

For Republicans to insist that they made up their own minds, uninfluenced by lies on social media is just nonsense.

Look at all the Republicans who stay glued to Fox news and that steady stream of lies.

I didn't hear of Pizzagate until after the election

Go ahead and continue to excuse her loss and blame
It on Russians. It will encourage her to run again

No one is saying this except for sycophants who are trying to project by pretending to be dumb (or not pretending).
