The establishment needs to tack on the 18% Gratuity that other establishments do....

That these good Christians would cheap out on tipping is hardly a surprise.

That or be cheap bastards.

WHY? As ChicagoMeO said, if all 50 people came to get their order **INDIVIDUALLY**, then the to-go server would have had 49 MORE trips to people's cars. Also, she wouldn't have blinked an eye at each person not tipping since it was one order a piece. She wouldn't have complained on facebook about it.

This is actually ***LESS WORK*** than if 49 other people came to make each individual orders. Also, LOTS more work billing each of the 50 people if they paid with cash or if they paid when they got there as well.

So HOW is it "CHEAP" to not tip for a large order? It's actually MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE WORK to have each person pick up their own meal to make 50 separate orders than to do what the customers did.

Also, HOW is it "SERVICE" to pack up the items if it's all done when you get there? You aren't there to receive the packing. Do you not have ANY COMMON SENSE to speak of that service is when you are actually **THERE***?

I’ve never tipped for take out. I could see tipping maybe 5% in this situation.

As I said, WHY though? If she had each customer come to pick up their order individually, it would have been ********WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY MORE WORK************ from billing to walking to the vehicles.

TIPS means "To Insure Proper Service"

If you serve yourself, (take-out) then it is no tip.

If anyone does work to wait on you, and serves and saves you from extra work or like if they deliver your food in a bad weather situation, they deserve a tip especially if they did something that they didn't have to.

This is getting out of hand. Where people are getting the entitlement mentality. This will not bode well for society.

oh and those tracts that look like a dollar bill but are a gospel message, i saw some of those, but i would not give it to someone who expects money, as that person might not have a sense of humor and arrest you for giving them fake money. That could be a crime. Especially if you give it to your bank teller.

Lot of cheapskates on this thread.

This group did not "serve themselves." This wasn't a buffet line that church ladies filled fifty to-go boxes at.

If the good Christians at Christ Fellowship are so righteous and correct about not tipping, why did they complain when this information was posted for all to see?

They knew it was dick move and so do we.

Are you maintaining that not a one of these fifty some good Christians would have tipped a buck or two?

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but clearly you know good Christians better than I.

Apparently, their prayers are with her now as she looks for a new job.

We get it, you hate Christians.

You probably should read before posting. The church called Outback trying to find a way to get a tip to the waitress. They did not complain and were not trying to get her fired as you lied. Some church members got together and compensated her with more than a tip.

This order started out as a delivery order. When Outback was running behind on the order, the church sent a volunteer to pick it up instead.

This order started out as a delivery order and they didn't include a tip?
