I wonder where he got the money for the AR15 and his other cache of weapons. Those are expensive.

We needed to clean up the mental institutions not get rid of them.

LA alone has 40,000 homeless of which most would probably fall under some type of mental issue.

What's worse, mass killings or your child being killed. You cannot equate the two....plus, a 6th grader with such a mental problem that he is going to perform such a thing? Yo don't see the irony, the danger, the complete lack of control this young child had.....you fail to see there is something wrong?????????You failed to read what I wrote about the kid himself, how violent he was, you simply fixated on outlawing guns....he shouldn't have been sold that gun to begin with. And now your fixated on Strangling? Road rage to me, is a mental illness....an anger which there is no control over...to the point of wanting to hurt someone and acting out to shoot someone. So you want to outlaw all the guns. Guess what, when a person gets to the point of that kind of uncontrollable anger, they're going to follow that other person home and hurt them, badly, b/c of mental illness, anger, and lack of control. If a person wants to perform mass murders, they're going to find other ways....
Did you ask yourself why was that kid in the school when he was expelled? That was human error on the part of the school, why?
You are not considering any other idea or exploration into this, except, "OH, outlaw guns that will settle everything, now I can get on with my life, b/c I've done my share." Well, no you haven't.
I asked a parent this morning, "if you saw that school door was wide open, did you go to any school board meetings and investigate? Did you call the school and speak wtih the principle?
This has to be a collective work in progress on behalf of everyone and everything involved.
Including law enforcement.
You can criticize and lecture me all you like. You appear to be fixated on telling others they are wrong and insist you are right.

And I still disagree with you. You accuse others of being emotional, but your preaching is all emotion and little logic.

You lecture me about reading your post, and you did not even read mine. I never stated that I "want to outlaw all the guns." That is a reading comprehension issue.

Problem lies in offering only three options to solve the problem of violence.

Limited imagination is at the heart of the problem.

I'd have to go with mental illness. Those who simply kill others outside of self defense situations, has mental illness (issues) to do something like that. I'd say that "coping issue" would fall under mental illness (issues).

Anyone who kills someone outside of self defense situations needs to just be put to death right after the trial, if found guilty. Throw that insanity bs out completely. Anyone who kills anyone else just to do it is insane / mentally ill. Just remove them permanently at the least cost. How much does it cost to drop them in a bathtub with a plugged in toaster oven or a .22 cal hollow point between the eyes at point blank range?

I know, there's butt loads of people out there saying it's cruel and inhumane. But what's a little pin prick compared to what the victim who was brutally raped, sodomized, throat slit from ear to ear and left out in a cornfield went through during the last hours/minutes of their lives?

I just learned that the FBI received a tip in January that Cruz might perform mass shootings....so?

I'm sorry, but as I said, we can't stick our heads in the sand and chant, take guns away.....that isn't going to solve the problem....quick fixes do not work....

this needs to have much attention....study and hard work, to overcome these problems, including metal detectors, and security guards....

I think its time to start....
