Anytime an individual feels oppressed, they will fell resentment to the oppressor, the rest of their entire life.

What do you resent happening to you. What brings hate into your heart?

I don't have hate. I only wish people would dump forced collectivism and celebrate free will/individualism.

The world would be a much better place.

I can't say that resentment is an emotion that I experience. I certainly feel frustration and anger occasionally, but chronic resentment? No.

i agree, i dont hate people, i might hate actions that people do, i might hate certain foods, but i have tried hard to eliminate hate for people from my life.

and while i am not a biker like toyman, i am a hot rodder, so i agree, i do tend to hate snow. reduced traction, salt on the roads to prevent ice, among other things all conspire to cause damage to vehicles.

I don't hate anyone, but I have worked with people that I disliked.

I used to work with this one particular guy, I told him he was living proof why murder was illegal, for if murder was legal, he was enough of a AS**#LE that someone would have already killed him.

The guy not only thought it was funny, he agreed, he knew he could be a real AS**#LE.

Anytime I think about resentment it starts to read like "a confederacy of dunces".....

OK, not that bad. I think what bothers me most is "entitlement".

We come into the world wet and crying. Everything after that is up to us. People may help us along the way. They may not. We have to understand that the would isn't fair. Someone who has worked hard to get where they are knows that. Your position in life is what it is. You have some power to change it. Yes, some of us got a crappy start. Some don't get opportunities that others get.

Life is not fair. Get over it.
