Mueller is investigating Russia specifically, and whether Russia had help from the Trump campaign. According to his charter, he can and will investigate any crimes disclosed as a result of the investigation. If he runs across information that illegals were in cahoots with the Russians to influence the election, you may have a point.

We have to give a lawyer to illegals and provide them a court date and hearing before a judge. They are not citizens.

Speaking of using one's brain.

Chris Steele violated everything that Mueller is using to indict the Russians.

Read the whole article, I think we have to move forward with indicting Chris Steele.
What you said is quite true-Steele DID do fundamentally the same as the Russians, and for the same reason, an attempt to influence the election. The difference? The Russian efforts were funded by Russia, or by Russian citizens. They were out to sow discord and harm the effectiveness of the American government. Russia was looking out for Russian citizens.

Christ Steele was funded by the DNC...to do exactly the same thing. We expect foreign nations to mess with our government-that's what intelligence agencies do. What does that make the DNC? And even worse-if he was paid by the FBI, what does that say for the motivation of the FBI administrators that funded this attack and released the info to the press.

IMO the Russians didn't really care if Trump or Clinton won-their real goal was to disrupt the functioning of our government. To undercut the administration. To make it difficult for the president to implement policies in America's interests. And they were smart enough to figure out if Trump won, that goal would be a lot easier. With Trump in office, CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc, would do that for them.

Guess what? They have long been proven right.

Had Hillary won, the media industry would have done everything in their power to shield her from questions or criticism, the same as they did with Obama. So even though Clinton was long ago bought and paid for by the Russians, if the goal was to sow discord and divide this country, Trump was the better player for them. Russia can't compete with the resources of the MSM.
