From PBS News Hour, I think.

I don't remember the total figure for NRA political contributions, but 98% of it went to Republicans.

And the single largest chunk was $11 million to Trump.

I've seen $416 million total lobbying, $70 million on elections, and $10-13 million directly for Trump, depending on the source. I still want to know how much of that was rubles.

Considering that Democrats appear to be adamantly opposed to gun rights, this surprises you why?

I read that Trump got over $30M he also spoke at their convention, needless to say I don’t expect much from him.

Of course it went to Republicans. Is that something you didn't know?

Republicans are defenders of gun rights. Patriots. Ever notice which party aligns itself with each position?
Soft on crime Democrats take their marching orders from big-city crazies like Bloomberg. A known gun-grabber.

That's always been money down the toilet, but the more the Left flushes the better. Less money for their other social giveaways!

I donated about $200 to the NRA last year. Money well spent.

It's never been a "hobby" for gun humpers, it's an obsession, an addiction. Most of these people are disenfranchised and feel powerless in the real world, and guns give them a sense of power that they don't have. You can see how it can spiral out of control, and why they become unhinged at any mention of sensible gun control, as they view it as a direct attempt to remove their imagined "power".

I don't consider my Natural Right of self defense a hobby, but if you care that little about your life that is your call. Feel free to not own guns. Leave mine alone, you don't know better.

The NRA has 5 million members.

Hillary got double that from a single hedge fund.
