America is full of snowflakes. Thankfully, the Trump heatwave will take care of that

As is always the case, those who work hard and have thick skin aren't whining. They are working towards their own goals, prosperity and a brighter future.

Legality is not the issue. As everyone knows, legal and moral/ethical are two entirely different things. The issue is acting like a decent human being, pretty vital to forging trust and faith between others. There's a big difference between hearing uncomfortable or controversial remarks and outright offensive ones:

Controversial/uncomfortable speech - expressing ideas that, while uncomfortable to hear, cannot in any reasonable way be regarded as a personal attack (on their looks, intelligence, good intentions, etc.)

Offensive speech - expressing ideas in a manner that suggests the person talked at/about deserves whatever castigation, demeaning, etc. comes their way - not because that person actually set out to castigate, demean, etc. another person but simply because their ideas or personhood is seen as so distasteful that they deserve the same intensity (not type, not the difference) of scorn and rejection most people usually reserve for serious breeches of honesty, including lower-level felonies.

Really, read my post about 2 posts above your post I just quoted. You should see what I mean, between this response and my other post prior to yours.

So anyone objecting to obviously demeaning treatment simply because of even striking errors in thought, widely-regarded physical unattractiveness, incompetence, etc. is hardly worthy of pariah status - any more than conservatives objecting to demeaning as "rednecks" by caricature "coastal elites" deserve their pariah status. Same thing goes for "Getting Attention". If there's any unreasonable outrage going on here, it's the gratuitous bashers who object to getting called out on their shabby attitudes and behavior. Not only are they defending the ethically indefensible, they're hypocrites.

And minorities (racial, religious, orientation, gender identity, etc) who work hard and have thick skin don't have the right to object to mistreatment from others based on that part of their personhood? Or get passed over for a promotion? Or refused a raise when their performance objectively merits it??

If...you...say...so!!
