Interesting idea - that women so clearly were outraged at an incompetent, inexperienced, predatory man winning out over a competent, experienced woman that it became a galvanizing force.

Hillary Clinton Ignited a Feminist Movement. By Losing.
By Amy Chozik

Hillary Clinton, the first woman who had a real shot at the presidency, has finally set off a national awakening among women. The only catch? She did it by losing.

In the year since a stoic Mrs. Clinton watched as Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 45th president, a fervor has swept the country, prompting women’s marches, a record number of female candidates running for office and an outcry about sexual assault at all levels of society.

I would argue that it triggered a collective bowel movement of the left.

Hillary herself ignited nothing

Women, by themselves, are stepping up in response to these crazy men in government gone mad

She never had a real shot at the presidency. She is the personification of the good old boy political machine. You'd have to be as dumb as a bag or rocks not realize this.

It is painfully obvious that she is incompetent, corrupt, and arrogant. You would literally have to have the IQ of an inanimate object not to realize this.

Trump is mobilizing all kinds of people. Trump has brought such dishonor and disgrace upon the Oval Office, has so tarnished and sullied the White House, has so besmirched and blackened the reputation of America, and is such a petty, low, and base individual, that good patriotic people will be mobilized to get that "thing" out of the office in 2020 and punish the Republicans in 2018.

MEH -- I think it is something that is just happening.

The same with racism, black movement.

I don't think it was Obama necessarily.

I don't think Clinton started this fight back -- the #metoo, etc.

I don't really care the cause, the source...just that it is happening.

I know lots of you say it isn't necessary--- I have to say from my experience there is lots of space for improvement.

I disagree with OP. More and more Democrats are clamoring for Hillary and her buds to take a nice long extended vacation.
