For starters, there must be a hundred bazillion rounds of 7.62 x 39 floating around in the world.

You could make it illegal to make Semi Automatic rifles and pistols.

Only manually loaded / operated rifles allowed.

Tax on the manufacturer per rifle sold would increase cost.

Make it illegal to sell over state lines, so manufacturing would have to take place in each state.

Create laws, where the semi-auto rifle/pistol can only take 2-3 rounds in magazine.

All those would be legal under the 2nd amendment.

From one of my friends in regard to the tumbling bullets:

"barrys plated bullets for 10mm in a glock .. they tumble and hit sideways on every powder charge .. even at 5 foot from target"

LOL.

The "tumbling bullets".. Give people who has no experience with rifles a break.

Tumbling bullets, are SOMETIMES, regular Full Metal Jacket ( talking Military ammunition now ) that strikes bones, clothing, a branch on the way to target etc and tumbles, instead of piercing straight through.

Then, there are bullets, that are designed to be aerodynamic, but by design their tip is open and not filled with lead, so it collapses on impact and behaves irrationally in soft tissue. Sometimes its breaks up into dozens of pieces or just two and tumbles through as it has lost its point of balance.

Then, there are bullets, that are designed to penetrate armor, but then tumble wildly inside soft tissue. They could choose bullets what would easily pierce right through.

Geneva conventions states that hollow point bullets are not allowed in combat, but bullets with thin plating or not completely filled with lead will behave IRRATICALY, and often times tumble.

We could also quit having people spawn devil children that want to kill other people.

Ah, No none of those things would be legal under the 2nd Amendment, LOL you don't get to pull an end run around the Constitution.

How about if you have a right to free speech but only on top of mount Everest? Legal under the 1st Amendment right.....?

The gun owners can either wait and buy domestic new good ammunition, or they can pay a ton of money more for the good ammo the black market imports illegally, when and if it is available.

Or they can always go out and buy themselves a sporting arm and use any ammunition they want. Those guns are better, safer to use, and more versatile anyway.

A 100-year old 30-30 in good condition is still more reliable and safer than a new AR-15. And it's still good for killing an elk, not just a person. The ammo is cheaper, too.

Outside of military combat, the AR-15 is nothing but a very lethal toy that isn't well suited for anything but killing humans.
Wow. Sooooo much wrong with this.

Why do people with so little knowledge feel the need to attempt to portray the opposite?
