Yeah paranoia and phobia right, because it never happens a lot. It's not about so that she won't just leave, but that she won't be pulled away by the unscrupulous and the big brother government pulled in. And then you'll be nagged about housework in the meantime.

Lets say that a married couple both working full time but the man refuses to do housework, the wife is overwhelmed and unhappy while he relaxes and enjoys his time off. They end up divorcing. Guess who has to do housework, cooking etc now? BOTH lol. Hence why men (mostly old men) are more prone to want to marry again, yes for companionship but you better believe that doing housework in also part of their calculation.
I remember the first time my Mother was ever seriously ill. She had to have emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage and spent several weeks in bed recuperating. My dear Dad stood at the foot of the stairs yelling "Alice, how do get the washing machine to work?" I laughed and told him to just turn it on and was shocked when he replied that he didn't know how. If my Mom had passed before my Dad I'm quite sure he would have remarried pretty quickly, same as my stepdad wanted to marry my Mom only 6 months after his wife had passed (after 50 years), vs my Mom who had already been widowed for 9 years.

Yep, a couple of years after my dad passed I asked my mom if she was going to remarry and as she made a funny questioning look her reply was "what the hell for, so I can walk after him like he's a 2 year old?, no thanks". She had lots of friends, male and female and still never remarried.

Some men still live in the past. The world no longer revolves around men and their ideas, women are the stars of the story now.

Don't be ridiculous, the next step is a turn more towards the 1950s. I'm fine if women went around basically naked. But let's be real, meddling 3rd parties probably break up a lot of marriages. See, this is why there's no use discussing men and women relationships with the radical feminism.

Sounds at least a bit that he thinks we might be weak in mind (maybe, it’s an odd post) and keeping us at home is for our own safety and well-being lest the evil people out there corrupt our sweet simple minds any more than those darn feminists already did....

I always said that the men who want to control their wives don't want to put effort in the relationship. In other words only his happiness matters.

No, when one has power over another that power can and WILL be abused. Do you really believe if the woman was so happy "in her station of life as a house maid" she would have wanted to go out to work?
