If anyone has noticed, it seems approximately every two or three weeks, the press has another Trump "controversy" or "leak" that is deemed impeach-worthy and chaos ensues. The story goes global and is front page news, celebrities comment, talk show heads explode, blogs & forums are lit up, the nation goes crazy, and days later the air goes out of the balloon and it turns out to be either a non-factual story, unsubstantiated evidence, a false alarm, etc and then we all go back to regularly scheduled programming. Rinse, wash, and repeat the next week. Just for a quick reference, the Trump administration breathed life into many news networks and sources generating billions in revenue for them since the initial campaign announcement.
This is not even about fake news or liberals. These controversies are not entirely but seems to be in part, a ratings conspiracy. A specific and outlined ploy to generate consistent revenue off the 24/hr "outrage" cycle that Americans are addicted to ingesting. News networks and online sources that otherwise wouldn't regularly have a high ratings yield (outside of terrorist attacks and natural disasters) have a found a quick way to break even by creating yet another Trump "nothingburger" (in their words) disguised as a Whooper and the public bites and the bills are paid. The truth is, if they truly had anything substantial, it would have been out by now, the evidence would be clear, and he would be gone. In all actuality they don't have anything.
Most of the things put out in the news tend to be based upon Trump actions. The fact that nothing is being done seems to be more about the GOP refusing to do anything about it to be honest.
They certainly would have taken Obama down if he had done 1/2 of what Trump has.

Obama is actually the guilty one here, so you are entirely wrong about that.
Do they really have anything on Trump or is it a ratings ploy?

Are you serious?
If anyone has noticed, Trump generates theses controversies.
I suspect many do it for revenue (Newsweek, HuffPo, Yahoo, etc) and some do it cause they hate Trump (WaPo, CNN, etc)... It's hard to find a non-bias source because they don't exist anymore... We can thank liberals for that...
