CNN has called out Trump for using tough language and calling the Florida school shooter a "savage sicko".
Well that describes him and what he did but CNN and their panel of "experts" are saying that by using such harsh language to describe someone with a mental health issue is harmful to them.
It sounds to me like CNN is defending the shooter and what he did!

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/22/healt...-bn/index.html

They also attacked a NRA spokeswoman because she used the term "Insane Monster" to describe the shooter.

He was a sicko, a monster and calling him such harsh words do not insult those with mental issues but they identify a heinous murdering coward.

Why does CNN (the Left) have such a problem with calling a spade a spade?

Trump tells it like it is and they still are fearful of this but how else can you describe a young man that enters a school where he knows he will not face any opposition and starts shooting innocent people?

By attacking Trump for his honest description CNN is siding with the shooter and trying to make excuses for his barbarous attack.

If Trump did not feel the need to give us his ignorant, uninformed comments in such a crude manner, nobody would have to say anything. It's sickening to have the guy at the end of the bar as a president.

CNN does anything they can to attack Trump. But sadly, it makes them look sympathetic to really stupid things such as this. It makes CNN look worse, not Trump.

I’m guessing everyone of those family members of the kids killed and injured would agree with Trump .

I don’t think they are concerned with the names the shooter was called .

Does CNN have the balls to ask them ?

I agree with those said statements make by President Trump and the NRA. However, don't hurt yourself by bending and twisting CNN's words.

CNN, as with other outlets, have proven to be quite looney, at times. Don't become one yourself.

So calling someone that shoots up a school full of kids a "monster" or a "sicko" hurts their feelings? Put me down as someone that doesn't give a flying F.

Journalists should not be triggered so easily. Too bad they cannot understand that.
