Supporters try to deflect by bringing up everyone else's wrongdoing. From the Clintons, Obamas, Bush, Oprah, Kimmel, Comey, Kelly...I mean anyone they can think of to make excuses and expectations for Trump. Meanwhile, this man has done everything 20 people have done their whole career in less than 3 years. I mean come on, He is corrupt and guilty.

Was a server registered to the Trump Organization communicating with Russia’s Alfa Bank?

Isn't it time for computer programmers working for DeVos and Trump to start thinking about whether they want to rot in jail?
Yes
Thanks for the link
Family/Man A is likely not Manafort since his tail already in the wringer
Could be another Russian or Ukranian
This attorney is a Dutch national and lives in London
How they got him suggests help from Dutch intel and Brits
Since he does not normally work in US
Dutch is foreign service we havent heard from yet that I recall
Would be interesting to know how long Mueller kept this under his hat
And how they caught him in the lie
Gates's testimony of course but likely Mueller HAS the paper trail the guy lied about

You really have to respect Mueller.

Yes but the ego will be his downfall
And hope someone like Michael Cohen who has broken law after law to do Trump's bidding is thrown under the jail

From BBC article saying lawyer pled guilty.

'Who is Alex van der Zwaan?
He works for the New York law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom based in London.
Last year, he married the art critic Eva Khan, whose father German Khan co-founded the Alfa Group, one of Russia's largest investment groups.
An article on their wedding in the Russian edition of Tatler magazine last year said that Van der Zwaan had Russian roots and worked with Russian oligarchs."

I think Trump could use a good court jester to try and take his mind off his problems. Maybe you should apply.

Msnbc said 5 yrs is max sentence but he is likely to do 6mo
This would NEVER happen in Russia w his FIL's money/connections
He likely thought he was "protected"
And admittedly he wasn't IN Russia

Will be interesting to see how Russian media handles it

The wheels of justice turn slowly, but grind exceedingly fine.

Muller is building a foundation for his case and each move is adding to that foundation. Now the "hoax" and "witch hunt" talk can be put to rest as Muller gave intricate details of Russian interference were out lined in the recent indictments. Moving on to money laundering, Russians, Trump and Trump associates appears to be next. If Muller can prove links to Trump and shady characters for loans, money laundering, indebtedness, etc... the next step is to look for any quid pro quo.

There must be some reason Trump will not say a bad word about Putin while he publicly criticizes Americans and our allies. A reason Trump bends over backwards not to call out Russia specifically for interference, not signing the bill for new sanctions against Russia. A reason that 20 people have lied about their conversations with Russians. It seems to be coming down to money and the Russians wanting to lift the sanctions the US has on Russia.

There are too many questions surrounding Trump's actions and his inaction. Trump supporters seem to have the curiosity of a door stop when it comes to these questions and should have researched a bit into Trump's past before they hitched their wagon to him. It's been at least 10 years that Trump and sons admitted that they get a large portion of their investments from Russia because no other banks would deal with Trump. It all is coming to a point.

Of course this never could happen in Russia. The Russian Oligarchs control the court system and would protect their children and their spouses.

Proud day for US showing even Russian oligarch children can be held accountable.

This is not an indictment. It is now a guilty plea. So Mueller can add another notch.

This conviction now helps prove more of dossier is true....

"Van Der Zwaan’s father-in-law, Khan, is named in former British spy Christopher Steele’s dossier in a section that deals exclusively with Alfa Bank and its relationship to Putin. In the dossier, Steele alleges that the bank and its founders remain close to the Russian president and that they continued to trade “significant favours” between them."
