Interesting. Considering teen birth rates in (conservative) rural areas are significantly higher than those in urban and suburban areas. Must be those conservatives who have issues controlling their hormones and getting access to birth control

You are all debating with people that believe that everybody should pay for their own health costs because they can afford it. That would be great but that would only exist in a perfect world. Some of these same people don't believe they will ever get sick or get a terrible disease that will wipe their savings clean.

I think we need to go single payer. There will be leaches but I think it will be the best option. We have to get the insurance companies out of there and get big pharma in line. I know there is much more to it than that but we we have to start somewhere.

I would love to have that kind of security blanket.

Enough of your trolling on SJW. Not everyone who wants single payer healthcare is some SJW.
Exactly this.

If you don't agree with them you are essentially a SJW socialist liberal communist Democrat. I am independent with a little lean to the right. The moment I oppose something I get labeled liberal.

Nope. People dislike the only choices being crappy.

Not even security blanket. How about just I would love to be able to get the healthcare I need without worrying about medical bankruptcy.

Exactly. Of course the people with means will argue against something they can pay for out of pocket but they are the minority by a long shot.

If so inclined. You may choose a plan which suits your needs or not.

From the article:

The proposed regulations would allow insurers to sell individual consumers "short-term" policies that can last up to 12 months, have fewer benefits, and come with lower premiums.

The plans also would come with a disclaimer that they don't meet the Affordable Care Act's consumer protection requirements, such as guaranteed coverage. Insurers could also charge consumers more if an individual's medical history discloses health problems.

To sum up:

The have fewer benefits which means:
They have less consumer protections
They don't guaranteed coverage
No coverage for pre-existing health problems

Dems fume as Trump pushes low-cost, ObamaCare alternative health plans | Fox News

The economy is in recovery mode but a lot of people are still just getting by, especially millenials burdened with student debt. The last thing they needed was a full care package with full price rates. This will be an excellent alternative.

I think Donny was full of crap when he continually promised a far better replacement for the ACA would be implemented soon after he took office.
