The thread is about mass shootings, not school shootings. Pay attention and stop deflecting.

WOW, you would never know mass shootings ever happened anywhere but there if you believe the MSM.

In terms of John Lott who makes these wildly inaccurate figures, he was on 'Good Morning Britain' just last year and was made to look ridiculous and a complete idiot then.

The one you are speaking of is probably the one in 2014 which began as a hostage situation. The gunman was carrying a pump shotgun, and shot one hostage. One more was killed by police fire when the cafe was stormed.

The seige was one of 13 total mass killings in Australia since 1996 including the Port Arthur Massacre, killing 114 and wounding 67. Not bad for a country of 24 million people over 22 years.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_S...hostage_crisis

The United States had 346 mass shootings in 2017 alone, killing 590 people and wounding 1981. There were 384 in 2016, killing 606 and wounding 1781.

Draw your own conclusions about who has the right idea to minimize them.
We're not talking about the number of mass killings based in the size of different countries. We're talking about mass killings being stopped by taking away guns. In Australia, they did not. Only the means by which the mass killings were done. Eliminating the "weapon of choice" only made those determined to kill choose different methods.

Sorry, that post was FAR from the truth. It was a FLAT OUT LIE.

No, the truth doesn't hurt me. It seems to, however, hurt others who are determined to rewrite history. Hence their total fabrications of events.

Seems arbitrary.
No, they made sure to cover the ONE mass shooting in Norway history that took out 100 people among a small population.

I guess if we used such "facts", we'd say that right wingers commit most mass shootings, because the Norway dude 100% surely was....

This is a bunch of fake news...very typical of the modern right.
Those who want some facts - including what these countries did after ONE mass shooting, should read:
https://qz.com/1212809/compare-us-ma...and-australia/

Of course, the 2015 is convenient for leaving out las vegas, pulse and many more.

The real lie is cherry picking a 6 year period. In addition, given the size of their Whopper (lie), I don't even believe the stats they produce. It looks like they decided what is a mass shooting and what is not.

A "public" shooting. Well, the San Bernardino shooting was not in a public place (private function). All workplace shootings are not in a public places.

I think the OP showed us perfectly how to FAIL. The only conclusion I get, as mentioned above, is that right wing christians (Norway Shooter) are far and away the most dangerous murderers in the civilized world.

Can someone please define a mass shooting? The fake news says "public mass shootings". So when a dude kills his entire family and then the first LE officer on the scene, that's not "public" because it was in a house?

Are gang shootings of more than one or two "mass shootings" or "mass public shootings"?

IMHO, the entire article in the daily wire is BS. That's the great thing about the interweb - you can quote Alex Jones or find something which fits the worldview you already made up inside your head. Truth has nothing to do with it.
