It's not.

Your anecdotes about all of your "friends" are not evidence to support such a claim.
Of course, as you say and that beat goes on.

Not to me. Most folks must not pay attention to all the horrible side effects these medications are required to report.

But then, I'm not on any medications and if the doc wants me to get a script for something like statins, I "just say no."

Nancy would be proud.

Stupid tune with cardboard people selling junk that You can’t even buy even if you knew what it was for. They must have $hi**loads of money to burn.
Does this advertising appeal to anyone?
No but, what are you going to do? Believe me, I’m sick and tired of people telling me that they googled their symptoms and they’re convinced they have “X” disease and that they need a certain medication.

Then you also get the class action suits ads for just about every medication.

A lot of people firmly believe that there has to be a pill for every single thing and the market obliges them.

A lawyer once threatened to sue me if he didn’t get general anesthesia prior to insertion of a Foley catheter. Poor guy. I’m sure he had a hard time dealing with his enlarged prostate.

That’s the way it goes. You can’t fix stupid.
