Hmmmm.
One wonders.

I'm good with raising the age to purchase a gun or ammo to 21.

As long as we raise the voting age to 21 as well.

Let's see who has a hissy fit then.

What makes you think someone who's not responsible enough to buy a gun is responsible enough to make decisions about who should run the country?

I wonder how this will affect their overall business in rural and western area where it is common for young people to know about guns and use them all the time.

Will their parents STILL shop there?

And NOT allow them to join the military.

Maybe even not allow them to get their driver's licenses until 21 if they are so immature.

Looking at liberal think, if they are too young to buy a gun they CERTAINLY are too young to driver since cars and trucks kill MORE then guns do by a LONG shot (no pun intended) and LOT of those accidents are caused by youths UNDER 21.

If the gun grabbers are as concerned about deaths as they say, it makes sense to me.

What about marriage?

"The age of marriage in the United States is 18, with the exception of Nebraska (19) and Mississippi (21). Every state allows exceptions to their age of marriage. Most states allow marriage at 16 and 17 with parental consent, and some states also make exceptions subject to judicial approval, or cases of pregnancy."

No more marriage licenses issued until 21.

Abortion?

No more abortions until 21.

If you are going to use the argument, "too young to (fill in the blank) ", it should be consistent across the board.

"NO WAY! Walmart is the Mecca of Trumplandia"

Really?

I would venture to say there are MORE poor dems then repubs that shop at Walt-Mart.

That also means draft age if ever brought back
They will never raise the age for military. That 18 year old limit is set so they can get the kids right out of high school. If they raise the age, they will lose a bunch of those kids that 'plan' to go into the military but then start working and realize they don't really want to get into the military.

I don't think that constitutes a a "straw purchase" f the State law allows 18 year old's to buy guns and you ar buying it as gift.

"A straw purchase is one in which one Person “A” buys a firearm for Person “B”, at Person “B’s” request. They’re illegal, because criminals and other people who cannot pass a background check often get other people, who can pass a background check, to buy guns for them.
