Which works as far as it goes... but government tends to populate itself with people who are not good-natured.

Which is why government must be far more heavily restricted than its citizens.
Better yet, abolished completely.

Or we'll send people with assault weapons to your house to arrest you and throw you in prison for wanting to keep your own money!

I have no problem with the word control. Basically everything that is potentially dangerous needs to be controlled one way or another, be it drugs, medicine, cars, etc.
I think even knives and scissors would be controlled if their design purpose were to kill people

Also, controlling is not the same as abolishing.

One guy have a good sense of humor by mentionning in a tweet, some other retailers who are pro-gun control like Dick's Sporting Good to not sell to folks under 21 years old. The retailer in question is the defunct Blockbuster video store.

Only people who vote democrat would be stupid enough to think that "gun reform" is anything other than a new label for the same old gun control movement.

No, government is a necessary evil, and actually has legitimate functions. See the U.S. Constitution, Article 1 Section 8, for a handy list. The fact that government is frequently used to abuse people's rights instead of protecting them, doesn't mean it shouldn't legitimately protect them. That's like throwing out the baby with the bath water.

Be VERY concerned about any group who seeks to change language to push their agenda. IE Illegal alien becomes undocumented immigrant that then just becomes immigrant.
