I don't think the Jimmy Kimmel remark funny. And I am tired of how demanding and entitled acting the LGBT community has become. I actually was very sympathetic and accepting of the LGBT community when I was younger. My parents had several gay friends when I was growing up. In the 80's I used to go with friends and hang out at the gay clubs in Boston.

Nowadays, I am just sick and tired of all their complaining and demands. And no, insurance should not be covering gender reassignment operations. Pay for that out of your own pocket or make a crowd-sourcing appeal.

Who needs the Oscars, with entertainment like this around?

The end.
Well successful indie films typically make a lot more profit. (it won't be anywhere near double the money unless it manages to do really well in home video and get up to 40-50M)

And even then, it won't even be in the top 100 successful indie films. Not by any measure. Not by receipts, not by profit, not by screens....by no metric other than getting this lame-ass virtue-signalling award.

Well, that would eliminate documentaries and comedy completely, not to mention 98% of the writers, producers, directors, cast and crew of everything you watch.

So yeah, I'd probably watch all thirty minutes of everything that was left, out of curiosity.

The question is, why aren't conservatives capable of producing anything entertaining enough to make box office, or writing anything strong enough to attract conservative backers to make the show?

Wait, what? Where's this "emotional response" I'm alleged to have made?

So, how's the weather in Egypt today? Are you enjoying your swim in that river?

It would be a lot better. It'd be more like older movies and TV programming, much of it better than the newer weird and divisive stuff.

Probably no effect at all. I have been to exactly four movies in a movie theater in the past 20 years. No joke. I like movies just fine, but I hate crowded theaters, over-priced concessions, and not having a "pause" option.

Oops, I forgot. Five movies. One was on a date so awful that I entirely forgot we went to a movie after dinner.

You know darn well the media is a rigged and controlled system just like our economic system. Besides all the liberal rage monkeys rage every time anything isn't sufficient progressive and PC.

I don't give a rat's butt what the politics are of anyone in front of the camera or behind the scenes in Hollywood. If I want to see the movie, I see the movie.
