I thought Republicans were for "laissez-Faire" style economy. Now I don't know about you, but tariffs don't sound very "laissez-Faire" to me. In fact tariffs are usually a sign of an insecure leftist economy

Umm you do realize that the two parties switched platforms in the 1960s, right? So yeah, these tariffs were a leftist idea

So why do you agree trading with a country that does not have that?

There are hundreds of other countries we can make our "favored trading partner"
