Conservatives don’t have the talent. It’s that simple.
But wouldn't it be entertaining to watch them try? I'm tired of hearing them whine all the time too. Let them make their own films and television shows and leave the rest of us alone to enjoy ours.

People have a right to complain. Just like you folks from the Left like to complain about Wall Street. Why don’t you start your own liberal Wall Street then? See how silly your premise is?
And you are wrong about “it’s never going back to being conservative.” One thing you should learn from history is how things can flip. It wasn’t that long ago when Hollywood was so anti-Communist that many innocent Hollywood people were blacklisted. As you know, communism is Left of center.
you don't know about the Black List -- it wasn't that Hollywood was anti-Communist -- it was the government that was anti-Communist and Hollywood had to play along or be jailed or 'blacklisted'.
wealthy, leftist, multi-divorced, drug addled Hollywood stars, who spent literally decades sexually abusing each other, love to tell the great unwashed to follow their moral examples in message movies and social media. the public responded to Hollywood hypocrites by spending their dollars elsewhere. Hollywood just had its worst summer box office in 20 years, according to cnn article below.
there is plenty of competition to Hollywood on Netflix, amazon, etc. no need for a 'conservative' studio. the marketplace has filled the entertainment gap. that is the beauty of capitalism.
I don't care about the political leanings of the people making the movies/tv shows. I simply don't want every single show/movie to be so overtly political...no matter the "side" (with the liberal slant much more prevalent obviously).
That's my complaint. I guess I'm in the minority because that's not how Hollywood has rolled in quite a long time.

I used to enjoy movies/tv and just miss the option of having it. I'll live...it would just be nice to be able to go to the movies or watch a late night show again.

You beat me to it, desertdetroiter. It's the same reason they don't start their own versions of Facebook and Twitter and Google. All the intelligence and talent is on the liberal/progressive side.
Complaining and being in a constant state of outrage are hobbies for some people.
