America was founded on violence with white people (colonists) having a War with other white people (the British) and establishing the 2nd. Amendment.
America enslaved blacks for hundreds of years and ran off the Mexicans & Indians off their land in the West.
Which culture is the violent one again?
Hundreds of years. Math is not your strongest subject. USA was a country for how many years? And when did Slavery get abolished? We have only been a country for 232 years. Thats not HUNDREDS OF YEARS. The British were the people that brought slaves to the Colony's, via the sale of blacks via AFRICANS (You know, the BLACKS that still to this day enslave people).
And the 2A didnt create violence. People create violence.
So, how long has that happened now? How long should we blame systemic racism? How many multiple decades? Other "communities" have been poor, and destitute. The Irish, and Italians come to mind.
It's not like the Civil Rights movement was generations ago, wasn't until 1968 that the Fair Housing Act came out of the movement. But that certainly didn't put an end to it. It's a problem that still continues today and dates to the founding of the colonies.

Slaves weren’t viewed as violent. They were generally seen as very docile and often passive and peaceful. There are many historic accounts to prove this.
Violence is as American as apple pie. I think that’s the initial posters point.
as long the demand for illicit drugs and money continue, which as we all know has been a main attraction for gangs and violence, we will continue to see deadly homicides.

Wasnt saying Slaves were violent. Was countering the beleif that evil Whites are the cause of everyones problems..
Yes, Slaves were docile, and allot of it had to do with being owned.. Sad, but they had no where to run..

But there were posters posting about violence, as if unique to only certain particular groups of people, including blacks, were they not?
I find it hilarious that "multiculturalism" is being brought up in relation to violence. American culture is violent period and it is based upon a Euro-centric culture brought by the first white inhabitants who built a country on genocide and enslavement of other people (and torture and rape and terrorism, etc.)
These folks crack me up.
I mean, what other nation goes around the world fomenting wars like the United States does!!
That’s violence, but Americans don’t give it a second thought.

And don't forget the hordes of CIA-trained death squads. Pick any country in Central America and I can show you the blood-soaked hands of Uncle Sam pulling strings.
United States has been one of Earth’s most violent nations for centuries. Please. It has nothing to do with multiculturalism.
Look at all the sadism practiced during slavery, the Indian massacres, the Civil War, the history of riots (the Draft Riots in particular), the Old West gun fights and what was referred to as frontier justice. This nation is SOAKED in blood.
The bolded = the "solution" that many Americans still propose to this day as an answer to school shootings (arming "good guys").
