The only good and American loving people are Moderates...we are less motived by ideological coherence and focus on advocating for what really makes for good policy

Like what good policy? Does it include free trade, mass globalized immigration and amnesties and any identity politics? If so that's not good policies in my view.

Define moderate. Define good policy.
Ideological coherence now seems to be anything anyone makes it out to be.
Good policy seems to be what's most beneficial at the moment for the side that's winning at the moment.

I do agree that the moderates are the only good ones left when it comes to ideology, but partisan ideology has taken all the numbers and moderation is no longer a virtue for all too many of us.

It is sad, but it's a fact. When the citizens want moderation, they will moderate. It doesn't seem to be very desirable at the moment to be temperate and level headed.

Sadly true banjomike. The lunatic fringe on both sides seem to be having their 15 minutes of fame. I have hope that the dysfunction will go away.

No, moderates are the swing factor whenever the country tips over one side and need to lean back the other way.

We've had these see-saw political changes almost ever decade or generation when one party sways too far to one end the moderates have to counter-act and vote against that direction.

If moderate means some middle road between liberal and conservative policies, then maybe, maybe not. Sometimes the best policy is "none of the above".

Sometimes the best policy is no policy at all if the federal government has Constitutional reason for sticking their nose into it.

It seems to me too many "moderates" often pick and choose the worst policies from the left and the right and shun the better ideas as "too extreme", and end up being some of the worst. Also they seem gullible in believing everything that sounds good because it is "moderate".

You're apparently not really a moderate. Real moderates don't blather about their paranoid fantasies of other Americans hating America.
