He's a supporter of gun control, more so than any Democratic president. "Take the guns first, go through due process second."

He is currently pursuing government welfare for the steel industry in the form of tariffs. Needlessly getting the government involved in the economy in pursuit of the unionized industrial workforce's vote, who have historically been Democrats. Even though such tariffs have proven to have the opposite effect in the past.

He's proposing massive government spending without paying for it.

He was a registered Democrat and generally is a NYC liberal. He's just exploiting the Republicans.

Agree?

Hmmm.

The easiest answer would be to say that, no, someone who dreams of jailing his political opponents and clamping down on free speech isn't a liberal.

I could also point out that these days Republican spend massive amounts without worrying how to pay for it (e.g. Bush taking us to war).

But, you're right, Trump was a Democrat because he really has no principles at all, which is possibly one reason he gets swayed so easily - although that may also be due to his colossal general ignorance. And you are partly right - he exploits everyone.

Trump is extremely anti-environment, more so than almost any president I've ever seen, even previous Republican ones.

Is Trump more of a liberal than Clinton?

In some ways I believe he is.

.
Yeah that’s the authoritarian y-axis coming out in him.

But also more a reflection on Clinton. For all the right’s propaganda against her she’s not much of a liberal at all.

I would say Trump is more of a "limo liberal" than Hillary. In terms of "being liberal with his tongue (lies) and adultery, etc." he's 10X as liberal. But that's a different meaning of the word.

I honestly don't think he knows what he is...other than an entertainer. That is his true calling and if he stuck to that we would be better off.

Say what you like, there is no quiz, test or any other metric that Hillary could not demolish Trump in. That is, she is educated and she reads, so many of her opinions and stances are thought out. His are not.

I may not be the most environmentally-conscious person, but decreasing the size of various national parks is ridiculous. Some of those parks may border on Native American-owned land and we have given those folks enough trouble throughout American history.

Wrong. That's exactly what a liberal thinks.

That's what an authoritarian on either side thinks. Trump is no friend of the 1st amendment.

Hard to compare to Hillary. She sells out to the highest bidder.
