People would be justified in getting violent if the right had won and allowed the trampling of our right to privacy as was tried in the cell phone case.

If people must get violent to protect our Constitutionally acknowledged rights we all should support that.

If that stopped it would anger a lot of lefties, because if white straight Christian men are not being attacked it is an assault on women and minorities!

Rowe v Wade
Obergfell

In both instances, overturning these rulings would not make abortion or homosexual "marriage" illegal, it would just push the matter down to the states for each of them to make a law on these topics that fits the expectations of the people in those particular states.

I wouldn't mind if Clarence Thomas was traded in for a younger jurist.

Our country was never set up for "majority rules". If it was we never would have integrated things like the schools.

The majority wanted blacks to ride in the back of the bus.

Late term abortions are less than 1% of all abortions and are generally done because for medical reasons like health of the mother or because the fetus has a condition that will mean almost certain death. Most women don't suddenly change their minds after being pregnant for 6+ months.

You may get your wish; Thomas has openly stated he is considering retirement.
