Volunteer fire departments are a very good example. Security protection could also be provided by volunteers as well as for-profit entities.

As for police in an anarchist society, here ya go:

Property rights and freedom of association. Their business, their choice. Free market on EVERYTHING.

Once again, their business, their right to discriminate. Property rights are supreme.

If the market decides their business isn't profitable, it will fail. Simple capitalism 101.

That is the whole point. One rule for all, or no rule at all.

This whole "My discrimination is not discrimination, only yours is" is not a libertarian approach. It is stupid.

As you can see by my current status, I am a libertarian. An ancap, actually.

As a business owner, I can't imagine turning down a potential customer. You own a business to make money. You serve cops, bake gays wedding cakes and so on. I personally don't get the limited mindset, but oh well.

The coffee shop has the right to refuse service to anyone they wish. Just like a bakery owner has the right to refuse to serve anyone they wish.....oh, wait.

The left's preposterous hypocrisy notwithstanding, if the coffee shop owner and the shop's patrons are really that afraid of the police, they should seek professional help. Seriously.

But, we all know they're not really afraid. This is just another SJW publicity stunt.

You can call and identify yourself whatever you wish.... That doesn't make it so, and I don't have to believe your words, when your actions say different.
