Again with the cultural appropriation nonsense .

Nobody is 100% completely original and every artists gets influenced to some degree by others .

I’m not a huge fan of Bruno Mars he’s got some good songs but I didn’t even know if he’s black or not and didn’t care . These SJW activists are so race obsessed .. it’s funny because they are always the ones that claim to be against racism and that race shouldn’t matter .

I never even heard of this “writer and activist” .

—-

Bruno Mars 100% is a cultural appropriator. He is not black, at all, and he plays up his racial ambiguity to cross genres," writer and activist Seren Sensei said in a clip for "The Grapevine," a web series that explores African-American issues.
"What Bruno Mars does, is he takes pre-existing work and he just completely, word-for-word recreates it, extrapolates it," she added. "He does not create it, he does not improve upon it, he does not make it better. He's a karaoke singer, he's a wedding singer, he's the person you hire to do Michael Jackson and Prince covers. Yet Bruno Mars has an Album of the Year Grammy and Prince never won an Album of the Year Grammy."

LOL Yeah I'm black and you know the whole SJW thing is failing when they resort to attacking someone squeaky clean like Bruno Mars. The dude just makes good music (IMO, it's decent but I'm not buying his albums)...it isn't full of lameness like most rap these days, but actually write songs and has a good voice. They just look for something to cry and whine about when nobody is complaining about this at all. Yet another example of SJW's talking for black people when we didn't ask to be spoken for. Nobody has anything against Bruno Mars.

Do we have to encourage the whiners of society by giving them a bigger platform?

This isn't even a real controversy. As soon as this hit twitter 80% of the responses were from black people vigorously defending him. They ripped that girl in the video to shreds.

It does nicely illustrate the danger of mistaking random opinions on the internet for the opinions of the majority though.

That's what I'm wondering....why give these one or two people such a big platform to speak out on behalf of black people? It's silly.

Its not silly. Its the whole point. CNN is owned by some of the most powerful people in America, the top 0.01% in society. They dont care about ordinary people. They dont care about the "white people" or "black people" or any other skin color. Thats not what they are concerned with at all. They care about creating divisions between races and distractions from oligarchy rule in America. If people are concerned with this type of stuff, they wont be concerned with how they are getting royally f**** by the top 1% who rule with an iron fist.

CNN reported it because it trended on Twitter for a day or so and the news media these days will report anything "controversial" that trends on Twitter.

This is how we get all these "people are outraged"" stories where it's just really a handful of people online kvetching about randomness.
