Now, it may not be a white wig. It could be his 'style'. However, as thick as it is, flowing back from underneath his cap, it seems a reasonable preposition.
Would Fox add descriptions if he was identified as a Muslim? Or any other group besides white? Would CNN and NBC add the race of the suspect if he had not been white or would they have tossed "Muslim" if known?[/QUOTE
Live on air FOX has repeatedly said he was white, like every five minutes.
Would Fox add descriptions if he was identified as a Muslim? Or any other group besides white? Would CNN and NBC add the race of the suspect if he had not been white or would they have tossed "Muslim" if known?
Re the victims, not the suspect, CNN identified the racial and ethnic makeup of the non white victims, and didn't mention the ethnicity of the white victims, whereas (also re the victims, not the suspect) Fox didn't mention the race or ethnicity of any of the victims (see posts #121 and #214 on this thread re this).
Would Fox add descriptions if he was identified as a Muslim?
Without a doubt. Yes.

No, probably not. At least, they wouldn't lead with it.
I see where you're going with this, Elan, and I agree with you. Both networks are biased. Fox would go out of their way if this bomber was Muslim, they always do. I've also noticed that Fox News will always post links to petty crimes of minorities. For example, just yesterday Fox's home page had a link to a story about two black women who threw a fit in McDonalds becasue their order was wrong. And purposely posted a picture at the top of the article of the two black women. Fox News absolutely does that on purpose.
CNN goes out of their way everytime a violent crime is committed by a white person, as if to say "look, it's not always blacks and Hispanics who commit murder." CNN also has an entire quadrant of their homepage dedicated to bashing POTUS Trump, and will run any story they come across that paints the president in a negative light.
It's just the biased news world we live in today. If you like CNN or MSNBC but think they aren't biased, you're being willfully ignorant. If you like Fox News or Brietbart but think they aren't biased, you're being willfully ignorant. Period.
Personally, I prefer Fox News. But I'm not a lemming and I know how to separate facts being reported from the political lean.
I'm pretty sure the bomber knew what he was doing. Certainly he must have known that to drop off a package he would be on surveillance video, which would lead to his identification?
Perhaps that was his narcissistic plan, to go out in 'glory.'
Supposedly he left behind some taunting message? Figures.
Have you missed the news, the history of people being human bombs on suicide missions?
>>> Apples and oranges. Those people run into crowds and detonate BIG explosive devices knowing full well they'll die and get their 72 virgins. This guy was using essentially booby traps designed to kill or maim individuals. He blew himself up as the police closed in not wanting to be arrested. And these human bombs don't usually build the devices, they're brainwashed into being the detonators for the terrorists that control them.
Bomber sure seemed to get reckless and in a hurry the last 48 hours. There was no doubt he was going to be caught dropping off packages off at Fed Ex.
If he had kicked back and stopped for awhile it would have made the searches much harder. It's almost like he wanted to be caught.
