“The Austin bomber was involved in a teenage Christian “survivalist” group that discussed weapons and dangerous chemicals, according to a childhood friend.
Mark Anthony Conditt reportedly took part in a conservative outdoors club called Righteous Invasion of Truth (RIOT), in which home-schooled young people studied the Bible and were taught gun skills.”
He was raised and home schooled in a devout conservative evangelical christian home. One has to wonder if he was raised to believe "the world" is evil. I'm going with, he was a religiously motivated terrorist.
It is certainly possible that the bombings were politically motivated, intended to instill fear in opponents, and therefore terrorism. But the reasoning put forth, that because we call Islamist killers terrorists we must also call white men who kill terrorists to avoid being racist, is ridiculous. Make that argument and you might as well write, "kick me, I'm stupid" on a post-it and stick it on your ass.
What should we call him then? "Mentally challenged"?? When a muslim kills some are you going to consider this beautiful term "mentally challenged" before you go and call him terrorist? I think NOT.

There are Christians who are conservative, there are Christians who are liberal. There are atheists who are conservative and atheists who are liberal.
What the heck does a religious viewpoint have to do with political perspectives?
"Liberal" "Christians" (who believe in abortion and gay marriage) like "conservative" pundits like Bret Stephens (who believes in abolishing the Second Amendment and legalizing 30 million illegal aliens)?
