Trump lacks common sense, creativity, knowledge, intelligence ,and interest in the future of the United States to build anything other than a "wall". A big wall. That s about it.
Most illegal entries are at what are legal points of entry for people entering legally. Building a higher wall isn't going to change that.
But it's an effective dog whistle, with the added selling point of how we can put people to work building public works, to sell it as good for the economy. FDR was the king of that.

I've never disputed that, we are talking about a 700 mile long wall here, 18-30 feet tall for which no one except Trump and his sycophants can explain why we need it.

Also in the Tucson area. It was very effective also. I provided links proving it. Will it stop illegal immigration 100%? No, but it will make a significant impact. Enough of an impact to make it worth it.
