Sounds more like a perception than experience to me.

" taking up crowded space"

" eye and ear sore"

" most on welfare"

I know without a shadow of a doubt that the vast majority of Islamic believers (probably 99% of them) are good people with good intentions. Just as I know the same applies to other religious groups like Christians or Buddhists. It's only the extreme fringe supporters of these religions that we have to worry about.

That Turkey allows, does not mean everyone agrees, no diff than in the USA or anywhere else.
I forgot about Turkey. That’s good, but largely because they have had a few secular leaders. That’s a good thing.

Turkey ???? Ranks #84 on the Freedom Index. Right up there with Kenya, Nicaragua, Columbia, Uganda...

Maybe you shouldn't cherry pick your data. There is much more to freedom than gay rights and abortion.

True, but the U.K. recently said they estimate they have about 23,000 extremists in their country, and more British Muslims went to fight for ISIS than have gone into the British military. I can understand not going into the British military, but definitely not ISIS. I would say the U.K. is having problems with assimilation.

Italy isn't the gold standard, but your facts are wrong.

Turkey in 1934.
Italy in 1945, 11 years later.

I disagree with you. They’re not an eye and ear sore, and most are probably not on welfare. Where do you live?

All of Europe is having problems, which is why I don't think we should let any in. Of all the countries, I think the U.K. is probably having the least amount of issues. Germany and France seem to have more.

Wikipedia gives me something else. I'm not sure what the difference is.

"These states do not profess any state religion. Countries which officially decline to establish any religion include:

Australia

Chile
People's Republic of China
Colombia

East Timor

Republic of India
Republic of Ireland
Japan (but see Shinto and the Emperor of Japan)
Nepal
Nederland
New Zealand
Nigeria
Philippines
Portugal

Romania
Singapore
South Africa
South Korea
Schweiz
Republic of Turkey
United States of America"
