Wow, lots going on today.

A ranking member of the House Oversight Committee and a ranking member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs sent a letter to Kelly and Sullivan today. Here's the first paragraph of the letter - click on the link to read the entire letter, which details the allegations and quotes from the whistleblower documents.

"We have received extremely disturbing new documents from a whistleblower indicating that high level officials at both the White House and State Department worked with a network of conservative activists to conduct a "cleaning" of employees they believed were not sufficiently "supportive" of President Trump's agenda. They appear to have targeted these staffers despite being fully aware that they were career employees and despite the employees expressing willingness to support the policy priorities of the Trump Administration."

Here is the full letter sent to Kelly and Sullivan today: House Oversight letter

In the interest of fairness, I want to specify that the two congressmen are Democrats. However, I would appreciate it if anyone responding can try to put your partisan bias aside for a moment and read the full letter before commenting.

I have no idea what to make of this, so I'd like to hear more than "it's just you libs being you libs" or the usual "Trump is a moron" from folks replying.

Looks like there may be interest in another political witch hunt.

Did you forget that Obama made sure his political appointees were placed in career positions right before he left?

Now they can do the EPA.

The Trump administration blew the chance to fire all of the lawyers at the DOJ and make them re-apply for their jobs. It's easier to get rid of them when you first get into office saying you want your own lawyers. Bush made the same mistake.

Were the employees mentioned in the whistle blower's documents and the letter today the same employees? Good point, if so.

Quite an allegation. I'm interested to see more information come out.

If true, yikes.
