I get the feeling that Trump supporters will try to act as if they supported the party and not Trump personally. All the accolades and superlatives that they use about him now will quietly disappear and they would start talking about how the Republican party did such great things.
i am still here, for now. as i noted in an earlier post i supported nixon, and still do. he made mistakes, and had he been thinking clearly at the time, he would have let those involved in the break in deal with their own issues instead of trying to cover things up.

I'll bet when the Trumps leave the WH they won't be stealing things or need to disinfect it like the Clinton's and Obama's.

Trump is one of the worst liars ever and that does not make a "great president".

Whole government is being gutted. Laws and regulations which protect the people thrown out with reckless abandon
...

So, those are the things we know. What havoc the dotard has wreaked below the surface and in private will be exposed for years to come once this nightmare is over.

When Ivanka takes over in 2024, I'll still be a Trump supporter.

They have smiled and demurred throughout it all and they have to know the Republican party looks terrible as a result. So how many of them will say "Don't judge us by Trump! I never supported Trump or his behavior, I was the lone dissenter and never supported him!"

We know Jeff Flake can claim that honestly but very few others can.
How many Democrats still admit to supporting Obama? Especially now that we understand the depths of the corruption, militarism and the weaponization of our various departments/agencies under his Admin?

We know Dennis Kusincih could claim honestly he didn't, but very few others.

Amazing how the whole government is being gutted, thousands of admin spots remain unfilled & yet the country's doing the best it has in decades. Stock market up, wages up, unemployment at historic lows, gas/oil production at historic highs, illegal immigration way down, taxes on middle/working classes cut, ISIS defeated, North Korea volunteering to denuclearize & Russia on the ropes as we gobble up their gas/oil stranglehold of Europe.
