If Schiff wanted the truth, he'd go after the Obama administration and it's relationship with Russia.

Definitely the former; the latter if the former justifies it.

Your "interpretation" bears little resemblance to the quote you posted. You simply fabricated what you want to be true out of thin air. Don't know why you would post a quote that has nothing to do with the point you want to make, but I'm sure it made you feel better.

We’ve learned a great deal about the Russian’s use of social media. And we have been able to obtain a lot of very important information for the country which you’ll see when these transcripts come out, because at least some of the members, the Democratic members have been very serious about this.”

“We can’t simply rely on Bob Mueller,” he concluded. “Because his job is different than ours. His job is to determine who broke the law and who should be prosecuted and who should go to jail. It’s not his job to tell the country what happened. And outside of an indictment, he may not be able to speak. That’s what the Congress is supposed to do. So there’s no substitute for Congress doing its job.”

Sounds to me that somebody has leaked to Schiff that the Mueller Team & DOJ investigations are about to expose some Leftists..... so now he has no confidence in any investigation that HE does not control.

It wouldn't break my heart.

These investigations will end up being what "drains the swamp," if anything.

I've said since even before the last election that it was up to the (D)'s to provide a better alternative. It's not setting the bar very high but so far they are not able to get over it.

You guys really have a problem with reading comprehension, don't you? The quote the OP posted in no way says what you guys are "interpreting" it as saying. He's basically saying that Congress needs to do its job, which is to make sure the country gets the full story of what happened, which is different from the job that Mueller has. What's so difficult about that?

Lots and lots of wishful thinking going on here.

Meanwhile (aside from Mueller), a Storm is headed Trump's way.

The conviction of Mike Flynn in particular is beginning to look more and more like an out-and-out railroading.

FBI Agent Who Interviewed Flynn Had Personal Relationship With Recused Judge

Peter Strzok and his FBI girlfriend Lisa Page tried to collude with the FISA court judge who accepted Flynn's guilty plea. The plea was for a charge of lying to investigators, with no underlying crime, such as treason, bribery, etc. ever even charged. Flynn had lost his house, and could not afford to fight, so he pled guilty.

'Rudy' below is Rudolf Contreras, the FISC judge, and a friend of FBI lawyer (and ex-Mueller aide) Peter Strzok.

Quote:
“Rudy is on the [Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court]!” Page excitedly texted Strzok on July 25, 2016. “Did you know that? Just appointed two months ago.”
“I did,” Strzok responded. “I need to get together with him.”
“[He] said he’d gotten on a month or two ago at a graduation party we were both at.”

The pair hatched a plan to invite the judge to a dinner party where they could talk, since a one-on-one or two-on-one meeting would obviously have raised eyebrows if found out. There's a major stench here; something is rotten in D.C.
