I would say this firing would prove quite the opposite, you need to come back to reality if you think this is deserving of a special prosecutor.

Mueller's investigation is proceeding, you need to get over Hillary Clinton.

The FBI investigated McCabe internally and recommended he be fired immediately. End of story. Anything else is partisan theater.

Sessions said specifically that McCabe lied "under oath" about his leaking. Here's the million dollar question: Who did McCabe testify to "under oath"? It wasn't Nunes' House panel. It wasn't Burr's Senate panel. The IG Horowitz doesn't have the power to put people "under oath". It wasn't Mueller. So who exactly did McCabe testify to "under oath"?

It's impressive that that people who post here have access to official reports that have not been released to the public yet.

Somethings wrong with this whole administration when they have a turnover they have. Trump hand picked these people and now they aren’t any good? I think the problem is with Trump not his staff. The man has a problem, too bad the Republicans want to bury their heads in the sand and pretend things are fine. The truth will come out sooner or later.

Traitor Trump had Sessions fire McCabe in order to make his testimony about Comey look like sour grapes from a fired employee.

Alas, it seems that McCabe kept notes as he went along and left them behind for Mueller and others to use as they need.

One can only hope.

Seven more months to go.

I assume that it was an internal FBI investigatory body, why does it matter who it was. I think a more interesting question is why would he lie and what exactly was the lie. The exposure of sensitive information would not have been grounds for firing.

Moot point. The evidence IG Horowitz has already establishes McCabe as a liar. That's why the FBI's OPR recommended he be fired. His notes and testimony can't be trusted.

Game. Set. Match.
