Sooo what is going to happen when after years of this nonsense investigation it ends and we all see that it was a big waste of time and money that kept the Reps on edge and the Dems praying that the collusion is true?
Will the country get some type of apology from the people that pushed so hard and in some cases made stuff up and turned mole hills into mountains? Will these same people believe the outcome when Mueller finally puts the case to rest?
I have a feeling that the investigation will never be finished until Trump is out of office be it in 2020 or 2024.
oh please todd, Ken Starr investigated Bill Clinton for about 6 years... thus Mueller has at least 4 years to go...
You guys were fine with Ken starting with whitewater ...dragging it out for years and ending up with a lie over an inappropriate affair...
Ken's multi term investigation was defended by REPUBLICANS even though it started with money and ended with a completely unrelated lie about sex........
Hmmmm. Who is this guy? He was an FBI agent who left the bureau years ago. One agent amongst thousands. Big deal.
More interesting is his current position: “vice president of business development for an international investigative services company.†Wonder if he has connections to Russia. What is his motive in writing this piece?
Don't know about Russia, but he started his own P.I. firm last year:
As you say, he has an opinion. I also have an opinion: let Mr. Mueller finish the job. Indeed, the White House keeps saying that they have no desire to 'fire' Mr. Mueller, which indicates that Mr. Trump wants the job finished. So, most of us are on board.
All you need is the evidence that has not been produced in 30 years of investigation. If you have it, it's worth a bundle.
Some of these people hold on to a myth longer than Richard Scaife. At least he admitted his years of investigating the Clintons was a waste of money. Surprised Bill gave the eulogy at Scaife's funeral.
From the beginning of this when Hillary paid for this foolhardy exercise till now, this has been politically based effort to bring Trump down by the establishment that didn't want him messing with their serving cozy corruption system they had set up for themselves.
The fact that Mueller hired a team of Trump haters tells me what his aim has been from the beginning.
Hmmm - why do thoughts of certain international banks, Cambridge Analytica, various Trump private enterprises, ditto Kushner real estate interests, Paul Manafort, and a guy named Vlad over in Moscow come to mind??

I had forgotten that the investigation lasted so long. Here is a very good timeline composed in 1999, before the actual Senate trial began:
Holy cow. Mr. Starr (appointed in August 1994, replacing the initial investigator) did nothing but investigate until his report to Congress dated September 9, 1998. Heck, Ms. Monica did not arrive at the White House until November 1995, so the investigation into Whitewater was still going on when she and Bill began their relationship.

And the whitewater investigation ended up with over a dozen folks going to jail. But I don't think that's a fair comparison either, as Muellers investigation, due to its nature, is far more complex.
