I suppose if I truly love freedom, I should submit formal notices to City Hall, Dallas County, Austin, and Washington DC as appropriate for each governing entity, declare my property and fully independent and completely sovereign nation. Naturally I would renounce citizenship of all said jurisdictions. My nation will be that of [my Surname]ia.
Seriously, if I'm to agree with lifeexplorers claims, declaring yourself a one-person and one-lot nation is the necessary outcome of what he proposes (or if you're lucky enough to own the following, farmland, ranchland, etc. large enough to be self-sufficient in food).
Even assuming this wild speculation does come to pass, it would turn the land formerly known as the USA into hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of independent countries warring with each other. There's a reason the 19th Century German and Italian mini-nations united.
If we can do that without being shot, we would have done that long time ago.
I can’t find one thing about socialism is not evil.
If you can, please name one.
It looks like you can’t either.
You are a master of the circular conversation, answering questions with questions so you either never have to commit to anything or admit you don't have anything to add except your own unexamined opinions.
You made a claim, that Democratic Socialism is evil. Either support it with facts, or I call bull****.

I'm guessing a VAT and sales tax alone source of funding would require at least double the taxes.
Sales taxes are regressive - meaning they fall most heavily on the poor, the ones who can least afford to pay those taxes.
That is why there is an income tax, it falls more heavily on those who CAN afford to pay it. Same thing with inheritance taxes.
Beyond this, wealth inevitably creates power imbalances in a society. So with your proposal, wealth (translates into power) will concentrate in the elite, the exact same situation that exists in the USA now-- only *much* worse. So as ironic as it sounds (especially to you), slowing down the rate of wealth growth for people who already have a fairly hefty amount of it (and especially more than "fairly hefty" amounts) actually safeguards freedom for all. So wealth redistribution ultimately is a way to keep the wealthy from becoming so powerful that their voices drown out the poor and even middle class.
I totally can, it helps people of lesser means to actually have a chance to survive
By robbing from the people who have money? How is that remotely moral?
