A little insight into Trump and his attorney's escalated pressure to shut down the investigation. Trump can't tell the truth to save him and he's getting closer and closer to the hot seat where his par for the course, habitual, reflexive lying has greater and more serious potential consequences. Couldn't happen to a more deserving sociopath.

"may now know" Same old crap stories and we "may not know" too.

Not into LOGICAL conclusions? S'okay. Don't want to throw those who slog past your posts with a momentary, shocking foray into rationality and good sense.
No rubles for straying from the party line. Da? Da.
The only reason Trump hasn't been more freaked out earlier is being people keep pacifying him - like the lawyers pretending that the investigation would be over last year.
This is the problem when you surround yourself with yes-men and make it clear to everyone that you want people to flatter you and cringe.

If there were logical conclusions there wouldn't be a witch hunt investigation looking for a crime by Mueller.
It started as an excuse why the Dems lost the election. There is the conclusion your in search of and its been around a long time.

Trump chose to put himself on the world's most public stage, if he didn't realize that place would include placing his every action under the microscope I guess he's even more stupid than many first thought.
Mueller is now asking for Trump's campaign records.
That has to be setting off alarm bells in Trump's head; the man can't remember anything he said 5 minutes ago, much less 18 months ago.
I seriously doubt the investigation will be shut down prematurely now. There are too many investigations that are so close to trial that the Justice Dept. will see them to the end. If Congressmen try to shut it all down, they could face impeachment for obstruction of justice.
Mueller may be fired, but if he is, one of his staff could easily replace him and continue without skipping a beat now. They all know what they have, what they still need to find, and what to do when they've found it all. And if Mueller is fired, he can still help them voluntarily, which he probably would do.
I don't discount Trump in any way. The man has shown he's capable of destroying anyone around him at any time, and just as capable of destroying himself as anyone else. He has such small control over his impulses he could fire Mueller, but he knows that will be the end of him if he does.
I'm not sure Trump lacks survival instincts. He knows what he's up against or not with Mueller, who is the Devil he knows. I doubt he would remove the Devil he knows if he then must face the Devil he doesn't know, especially this late in the day.
11 months ago was the time Mueller should have been fired if the investigation was to stop by the firing. It's too late now.
