Probably with looming impeachment or obstruction. He can't tell the truth. It's not in his DNA.
Whenever I think about Trump, the old riddle about the path to the village of truth-tellers and the one to the village of liars, pops into mind. You could solve the riddle, by remembering that the truth would always be the exact opposite of what you were told by someone from the village of liars. And so Trump can be read accurately, by applying the same interpretation. It's sort of like learning to read a newspaper that's upside down (and backwards).
Ummm ... based on the previous actions by Trump's lawyers of trying to speed up the investigation by agreeing to meet with Mueller under specific terms shows that Trump wants to testify before the midterms.
IMO, the Russia investigation is the dark cloud looming over Trump and the Republicans. If you really listen to the Democrat's messaging, it is all anti-Trump. They don't really seem to be offering any solutions. They just b**** and moan about everything Trump does. This could be a winning or losing strategy. There are 3 possible scenarios ...
1. Trump is indicted on obstruction of justice, money laundering, treason, tax evasion, really whatever Mueller is able to throw at the wall and have stick. This would lead to impeachment and republicans losing both majorities in the House and Senate and lose in 2020.
2. Trump is cleared of any collusion or obstruction of justice. MSM is revealed as frauds who pushed a false narrative to discredit a fairly elected president. Republicans keeps majorities in House and Senate ... and Trump wins in 2020.
3. Trump meets with Mueller after midterms/Mueller holds off of on revealing his findings until after the midterms. Republicans keep majority in Senate, most likely lose majority in House. Impeachment process starts, which will throw the country into turmoil and Russians and Chinese catch us with our pants down and reck havoc on our national security.
It is in Trumps and the Republicans best interest to meet with Mueller before the start of summer so some conclusion to this investigation can be resolved before the fall.
You forgot about number 4:
Trump meets with Putin “in the near future†to ask for Russian help during the midterms. Maybe a power outage here another one there, hack the machines, etc. I can see that happening.
which one, the one from MSNBC titled: "Trump PROBABLY could not refuse Mueller" LMAO!!!!
And another title could be "Trump probably could tell Mueller to go F@ck himself"........or another title could be: "Probably Mueller doesn't have cr@p"
Mueller can send his questions in writing and Trump will get back to him.

I pray that one of Mr. Trump's close associates tells him firmly: "Mr. President, do not agree to have your questioning by Robert Mueller televised!"
Heh, heh, heh.
Then let the show begin. The questioning would probably be during the daytime, on a weekday and there'd be many workers calling in sick, so they could watch. It should be shown at all schools, where the students would get a good education, watching history being made. Everyone would be seeing the final act of the worst drama in our nation's history.
It's not a question of "if", but of "when". His lawyers are prepping him now. If he is innocent, he should have no problems convincing Mueller's team of it. If not, he may plead the Fifth. Anybody have any guesses as to how this will go down...?
I personally think it will take until sometime in May or June to get all the obstacles out of the way.
