Russia is not protecting Trump...they are using him for their benefits. Putin is a killer. I'm not talking just ordering people to kill but has pulled the trigger himself. There is documented material supporting this. Trump is being outsmarted by China and Russia.
My bet; China and Russia are meeting secretly and are having a big laugh right now about the Chinese tariffs.
Unfortunately, that’s already been tried. It was tried during the Gilded Age of the late 19th century and the result was misery and poverty for everyone except the robber barons and the political class.
In the late 1800s, America wasn’t a country worth defending.
That wasn't free-market capitalism. That was crony corporatism. They're not even close to being the same thing.
Hell, even Mark Twain's book about it was called "Crony Capitalism."
All businesses want an unfair advantage, and will buy it from politicians if they have the money to do so.

President Donald Trump will impose tariffs on at least $50 billion in Chinese goods imports to retaliate against the alleged theft of American intellectual property, White House officials said Thursday.
Wealth inequality and the income gap has been growing thanks to globalism.
So, it goes without saying, it will also be those that will be hurt the most as well.
They can only charge so much in the market that consumers are willing to pay, so they can not raise prices.
They cannot lower wages because they would have already done so, they are not a charity.
So that leaves profit cutting from shareholders and upper ceo pay.
